Dead By Dawn
Evil Dead: Dead by Dawn is a sequel to Evil Dead, with even more special effects and tree rape.
The second film is more of a horror comedy. There's much more slapstick involved, and cartoonish sound effects. This film acts as a somewhat direct sequel to the original film. It starts off with an abridged version of the first film, and starts off with Ash escaping the cabin. The dark spirit, however, catches up to him and possesses his body, only to be driven off by the morning sun. The rest of the film deals with Ash trying to survive the deadites a second time. A second group, lead by a girl called Annie, comes to the cabin, only to find that there's quite a lot of bad things happening in it.
The story is pretty good, if not better than the first one. The special effects still work in my opinion, and that is definitely a strong point in the series.
The movie ends with Ash losing his hand to... his hand... long story, and after replacing it with a chainsaw, he fights off the demons with Annie. Annie dies, but not before reading a spell from the Necronomicon that can spend the demons back in time.
And accidentally sends Ash back in time as well.
